Before entering private practice, Jonah worked as a journalist covering business, politics, and national affairs in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. That experience sharpened his ability to identify the facts that matter, ask the right questions, and develop persuasive, well-supported strategies, skills that continue to inform his work as an attorney.

Over more than 15 years of practice, Jonah has represented clients in civil litigation in jurisdictions throughout California and across the country, preparing complex matters for trial and helping clients navigate high-stakes disputes. He also has extensive experience in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including loan originations, acquisitions, financings, and the delivery of legal opinion letters under state and federal law.

Jonah earned his J.D. from the Pepperdine University School of Law, his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Ninth Circuits.
